The seminal ‘Midnight Marauders' album by A Tribe Called Quest famously moved away from the tradition of showcasing the group on the album's cover; instead, it displayed portraits of figures in Hip-Hop who they respected. Twenty years after its release, the ‘Manchester Marauders' exhibition pays tribute to that ground-breaking album cover. An exhibition curated by photographer, Air Adam features forty-nine respected artists from the Manchester scene as the exhibition centre piece. In addition to the main piece, the show will feature a wide selection of photos of Manchester Hip-Hop artists, from veterans to the new school.
