About

Fausto was the result of an invitation from CCB to mala voadora to design, in 2018, a theater show to commemorate the institution's 25th anniversary. Fausto told the story of a show of unbridled ambition that never happened, but absorbed a good part of the State Budget and created a national tragedy - everything permanently reported on television. There was also the staging of an attempt to conquer power through populism, failed in the end. Returning to the controversial reception of this show, mala voadora invited Alex Cassal to write a monologue for Jorge Andrade: inFausto. If Fausto gathered around 100 people on stage, inFausto is a monologue. But that’s no reason for the intrigue’s scale to decrease. On the contrary. Fausto, it turned out, was after all the target of a Machiavellian international conspiracy.
