Hastings Contemporary presents this special exhibition to celebrate our 10th anniversary since opening our doors in 2012.

About

The exhibition will include 10 artworks from some of the astonishingly talented artists who have exhibited in the gallery over the last decade, such as Chantal Joffe, Rose Wylie, Maggi Hambling and Sir Quentin Blake.

Over the last 10 years the response to the art we have shown has been phenomenal. We have alumni artists to be proud of, constantly punching well above our weight, whilst receiving awards and critical acclaim.

The ever-increasing number of visitors to our exhibitions from the local community and further afield demonstrate that Hastings has a vital role to play in artistic exchange. Since opening our doors as the Jerwood Gallery, over 400,000 people have visited our exhibitions and participated in our learning programmes.

Here is to more exhibitions to come, showcasing emerging and established artists and their work, making Hastings Contemporary a cultural hub of regional, national and international significance.
