We are delighted to partner with Hampshire’s leading craft organisation Making Space to mark their 10th anniversary.

About

Making Space is a craft organisation based in Havant, that creates opportunities for people to enjoy and take part in high-quality craft; expanding understanding of what craft is, does and can be. Its audiences discover and develop design and making skills, increasing personal wellbeing by working alongside professional makers.

Over the last ten years, Making Space has championed craft making, learning and participation by working with some of the most prominent and most exciting emerging craft talent in the UK.

It houses seven individual studio spaces that are leased to professional makers producing high-quality work, on top of launching their own Associate Maker scheme in May 2017 and running an inspiring creative programme.

Nine of Making Space’s associate artists have been selected for this celebratory exhibition in our Craft Space: Alex Archbold, Kathryn Green, Stella Harding, Elizabeth Hodgson, Peter Levy, Sarah Macrae, Syann van Niftrik and Sue Paraskeva. A further two associates, Ami Hyde and Kate Reid will also have work for sale in the Aspex shop.
