A wonderful exhibition of stunning and affordable hand pulled prints by members of the Beds, Bucks & Herts Print Society.
About
A wonderful exhibition of stunning and affordable hand pulled prints by members of the Beds, Bucks & Herts Print Society. On display will be a rich variety of prints made by different printmaking techniques including woodblock, linocut, screenprint, collograph, solarprint and drypoint. Each method has its own distinct surface which complements the artist’s style.
Work is for sale and admission is free.
During the four weeks of the exhibition artists from the Print Society will be in the exhibition most Saturdays explaining their work and the techniques involved.
On Saturday 29 October Society members will be running a Drypoint Printing Drop-in Workshop for all ages to have a go – with this type of printing there is no mess and it’s quick and fun.
The drop-in workshops are 10.30am – 12.30pm and 1.30pm – 3.30pm. Small charge per person per print. No need to book.
Artists: Kim Major-George, Fran Bugg, Karen Martin, Diana Strathon, Helen Boden, Antonia Glynne Jones, Nathalie Pymm and Marion Carter.
