About

An introduction to 3D Printing and the incredible possibilities it brings to art and design practice.

Prepare to experience the 3D Printing sensation and hear directly from the MakersCAFE in-house 3D Printing Specialist. Cris will deliver a 45 minute presentation on the various applications of 3D Printing, as well as the opportunities and challenges presented by this technology and the field in general.

With both an engineering and fine art background, Cris will be delighted to engage you in an informal Q&A to answer your questions in relation to the design process. You will be invited to handle some 3D Print samples for inspiration on your next project, as well as learning all about artists and designers who are already working with 3D print, at the forefront of some of its new and exciting applications.
