Make a silver ring with Melissa Hunt

This one-day taster workshop, held in the project space at Great Western Studios and run by resident contemporary jeweller Melissa Hunt, will explore a range of techniques suitable for applying textures and finishes to metal. Participants will have the opportunity to develop a suite of surface pattern samples before creating a beautifully finished silver ring to their own design and size. Author of Stonesetting for Contemporary Jewellery Makers, and with ten years teaching experience, Melissa will guide you through exploring new techniques and ideas. All tools, equipment and materials are included in the session fee. Maximum seven participants in the group.
