We're striving to preserve the legacy of Chicano culture in LA by bridging the generational gap. By doing so, we continue the tradition of our elders, sharing "consejos" or advice with the younger generation .
About
Avenue 50 Studio unveils an intergenerational and intercommunity art exposition showcasing mid-career and emerging artists deeply rooted in their respective cultural landscapes. This exhibition aims to reveal a continuum bridging generations, spotlighting the evolving artistic narratives within LA Chicano art. Each week, we orchestrate artist dialogues and live painting sessions pairing intergenerational artists. Our aspiration is to cultivate enduring mentorship bonds, fostering the growth and preservation of the LA Chicano artistic expression.
