DIGITS tackles the ambivalent status of our most common tool, the finger.
About
While we use our fingers almost non-stop in one way or another - to point, to touch, to type, to gesture - they quickly turn into something strange if considered in isolation from the rest of the body. Wormlike they seem to develop a life of their own always on the scout for the next hole to crawl into.__
Maika Saworski mostly works within the media of painting and drawing. She is interested in the ambivalence and animation of colour, whereby a simple brush stroke can easily turn into a gherkin, a peanut flip or a finger, according to its size and colour.

Sara Wendt is working as a costume designer and a performance artist. She is focused on the possibilities and conditions of grouping and community, as on the state of in-between.
