A collage of clips from vintage popular Egyptian movies that feature the Pyramids, exploring the tourist representation of Cairo, and how this relates to personal, political and nostalgic encounters with the city. Maha Maamoun was born in California. She lives and works in Cairo. She is one of the founding members of the Contemporary Image Collective (CIC), a space for contemporary art and culture in Cairo.
