Following a number of successful exhibitions and events in 2012, the Dye House is pleased to get 2013 successfully underway with a striking group exhibition curated by N/V_PROJECTS and featuring the works of Darren Banks, Ana Chrystal Stephens, Simon Davenport, Leo Fitzmaurice and Matthew Johnstone, as well as James McLardy, Daniel Shanken, Gesa Troch, Lewis Teague Wright and Nina Wakeford. Although the sculptural works of these artists are, in many cases, on a large scale, The Dye House has presented N/V_PROJECTS with the ideal venue in which to exhibit harmoniously yet impactfully: because of its vastness, it permits the works to co-exist and even commune with one another, without any jarring ‘bleed' or compromise. Because the works are, therefore, at ease with themselves and each other, so too will visitors feel free and able to seek maximum vantage of each piece in its own right and as part of the exhibition as a whole. Magnum Opus will open with a private view on January 10th and then continue until January 26th, thus taking in South London Art Map's ever-popular Last Fridays; at other times, the exhibition will be open to the public from Thursday to Saturday, between 12 and 6pm.
