MADE08 - Part III: Painting & Drawing

The gallery at Morley College is pleased to present its annual MADE exhibitions celebrating the finest work of the College's visual art students. This year, the three-part MADE08 exhibition will be a fusion of materials, techniques and craftsmanship, reflecting the talent and creativity of Morley's adult learners across a wide range of art forms. Showcased first from 10 April will be selected textile and jewellery pieces and like each of the exhibitions, some of this unique work will be for sale at affordable prices. The threesome will be completed by work from Painting and Drawing students between 15 May and early June. Morley College is lucky to have such eminent current artists such as Maggi Hambling and Jane Joseph teaching these disciplines so the expectations are high. For all three parts of MADE 08 there will be an open early evening talk from artists and tutors discussing the various concepts and techniques - it is hoped that these will also be available as podcasts as well.
