MADE SPACE

About

Made Space comprises the work of 13 artists who use objects, photography and mixed media to investigate the spaces surrounding them. Examining architecture and design, the natural world and manmade environments, the resulting work often calls to question the space between an original subject matter and an observed version of it. As such, the show scrutinises the creative process itself and surveys the variety of places that individual practice can inhabit. This exhibition has been put together by a group of artists who met on the Developing Fine Art Practice course at City Lit 2012-2013; Jose Arganda, Julia Austin-Brenes, Jim Cheatle, Emma Davis, Alex Devlin, Róisà ­n Fogarty, Diana Foster, Aya Hastwell, Joanna Marriott, Aki Moriuchi, Luigia Parkinson, Eve Wade-Frietsch and Susannah Ward.
