About

Part of Photomonth and First Thursday, this is a solo exhibition by exciting up and coming documentary photographer Phil Clarke-Hill. Made in Coorg documents the coffee farmers of the Coorg district of South India. Known by their traditional name; the Kodava people make a very modest living from the plantations - this small area accounts for 80% of India's fledgling coffee industry. This series was highly commended in the LUCIE International Photography awards 2010 and is due to be published in the UK and the US.
