EBC presents ‘mutually assured destruction as mutually assured production’ or ‘mad as map’ as it will be known, with new works by Georgia Gendall, Jack Lewdjaw, Jaf Yusuf and Karanjit Panesar.

About

MAD demonstrates a complex web of interdependence, from those bigger and smaller countries. To those who benefit from the deadlock, imagine a full disarmament as an alternative. From macro to micro the context of artists and communities could be less climactic, but does encourage us to question if we are in a state of equilibrium. To consider if the artists’ practices pivot on relationships to others, if they make fast or slow and how these factors might have a broader impact.

This is also an opportunity for the artists involved to iron out their own deadlocks, as well as those contained in inquiry and making.

As part of the Artlicks weekend programme. 18th, 19th, 20th. Open 12-6pm on each day

After these dates Saturdays and Sundays only 12-6pm and by appointment.
