A night of spoken word and open mic on the second Saturday of every month: enjoy a night of authentic word play that will explore a variety of poetic variants including hip hop, jazz poetry, traditional and prose poetry, MCs, a capella and even a bit of comedy, with performances beginning at 6.30pm. Hosted by MAD Art Magazine, a magazine aimed at showcasing underrepresented artists, the evening will display visual art to accompany the performances. Food and drink will also be available with vegan and vegetarian options, so come down, bring your people and immerse yourselves in positive vibrations and open, honest, refreshing spoken word!
