About

A display of four works from the Macmillan De'Longhi Art Programme Auction. Eight years ago, De'Longhi, the UK's number one premium Italian coffee machine brand, created the Macmillan De'Longhi Arts Programme to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. This is now one of the most colourful events in London's art calendar and is well on the way to raising its target amount of £1million. This year will be no exception with a Silent Auction taking place at the Darren Baker Gallery on Monday 27th October, with pieces donated by artists including Polly Morgan, Idris Khan and Rob Ryan. In total, over 20 impressive works will be auctioned off during the event, and every penny raised will help fund the Macmillan Support Line, a free telephone support service to help those living with cancer, or those who know someone with cancer, whether they have money worries, need advice about work or just need someone to listen. The artworks will be available to view at a seven-day exhibition at the Darren Baker Gallery, from 21st - 27th October. Members of the public will be able to view and bid on some of their favourite pieces over the course of the exhibition, at the gallery and online at www.macmillan.org.uk/artauction from early October. The exhibition will culminate in the invite-only auction event on Monday 27th October.
