About
Created in 2005 by The Worshipful Company of Painter-Stainers and The Lynn Foundation, the open competition champions the skills of draughtsmanship and figurative painting. This year’s exhibition, which runs at the Mall Galleries from 7 – 13 March 2016, aims to reflect the wealth of talent among both emerging and established artists.
139 works have been selected for the exhibition by a distinguished panel comprising Catharine Davison, Artist; Ken Howard OBE RA NEAC, Artist; James Lloyd, Artist; Sam Wadsworth, Artist; Andrew Wilton, Visiting Research Fellow at Tate Britain.
