In Pan-Oh!-Drama Luis Elvira-Sierra brings up through his paintings the idea of narration and storytelling.
About
Pan, derived from greek means all; everything included. Things are related to each other as parts of a whole.
Oh! We are part of that whole we call life and we live it filled with wonder.
Drama comes also from classical greek. It is derived from the word to do or I do. Thus drama means action. Everything is drama, whatever we see or we live is an action, a narration where we become the subjects or the witnesses of those acts.
Luis Elvira-Sierra is a Spanish poet and painter based in London since 2008. He holds a MA Philosophy by UAM (Madrid).
As poet he has published six books in Spanish, some of his poems written in English has been published in several poetry magazines in UK.
His practice as a painter deals with the use of different materials and mediums. He likes to work on paper, discarded furniture and other objects, such as maps and doors.
All welcome.
