An exhibition of ceramics by artist Lucy Ogden inspired by the current state of the worlds oceans.
About
“Human interference is threatening the very life in the oceans. Global warming, overfishing and pollution mean that entire marine ecosystems are rapidly changing. Handmade, slip decorated pieces feature a few of the species under threat. Other pieces are abstract but inspired by life in and around the oceans.” – Lucy Ogden
This exhibition will be taking place in the basement gallery, accompanying Kate Sherman’s exhibition COAST in the main gallery upstairs. Access to the basement gallery is via two steep sets of stairs.
