About
Through my work, I explore the boundaries of removing definition from an image to the point at which the content and context of that image become less clear.
This recent body of work originates from details of cityscapes reflected within architectural structures, resulting in a combination of organic and formal shapes. A variety of filtering techniques are used to strip away familiar visual cues, leaving space for the viewer to interpret the illusory depiction of the original subject matter that remains.
