About

The votes are in… LPA Futures '09 is a unique and unprecedented competition to find the next generation of commercial photographers. Due to its overwhelming success we think it will be the first of many. Launched in 2007, LPA Futures is a division of the Lisa Pritchard Agency an established photographers agent and stills producer based in London. LPA Futures promotes and supports emerging commercial photographers; the group changes every 2 years. Along with invaluable experience and advice, the division offers photographers a welcome springboard at this crucial stage in their careers, fast tracking recognition in a highly competitive industry. The only resource of its kind, it supplies up and coming photographers to the creative industry with the safeguard of an agent. The founding group were sourced from awards, online research and recommendations, this time we decided to run a competition to broaden the search and invite the opinion of other industry professionals. Entrants were initially asked to submit 10 images online and a brief summary of why they want to be part of LPA Futures. We're proud to say that we were inundated with submissions from extremely talented photographers from the UK and overseas. Esteemed experts from the worlds of photography, advertising and design have selected 5 outstanding winners; the ‘prize' is to be represented by LPA Futures for 2 years! We will be showcasing the work of the winners for the first time along with work from the LPA Photographers between 14.05.09-10.06.09 at the theprintspace www.theprintspace.co.uk For more information please visit www.lisapritchard.com LPA Futures ‘09 will go live on our website on the 14.05.09.
