A walk on the riverbed of Deptford Creek at low tide looking at the rich wildlife in this ever changing environment.
About
A low tide walk down Deptford Creek with artists Madi Achiary Baskerville and Victoria Rance led by Nick Bertrand, a conservationist from Deptford’s Creekside Centre.
We will discuss the changing Creek and the effect of climate change on the local fauna and flora, and the artists will talk about their own work in relation to the Creek.
This event is concurrent with Creek Dreams, Remnants of a Former Life at Seager Gallery Deptford Broadway, September 14 to October 9th. Open Thursday to Sunday 1-5pm or by appointment.
Cost is £12.50 including refreshments at APT after the event. Creekside Discovery Centre provides all attendees with waders, waterproof coat and walking stick. Minimum up age limit is 8 years old.
