Loved&Lost invites participants to explore their experience of personal loss, through the restaging of a family photograph and recording an interview.
About
This will be the first major exhibition of the Loved&Lost, featuring 9 stories told through photography, text and photofilms.
The project has been created by Manchester based photographer Simon Bray, “Loved&Lost began 6 years ago after the loss of my father, and has become even more poignant for me since the loss of my younger sister last year, the strongest possible reminder that it’s important to share our stories of loss and how we find our way through the grief that comes with it.”
Loved&Lost has reached an audience of over 3 million people worldwide through coverage from The Guardian, BBC Breakfast TV, BBC Radio and exhibitions at Colwyn Bay, Manchester Cathedral and now at Weston Park Museum, Sheffield.
