ATM paints endangered Birds on the Streets of London
About
Ben Oakley Gallery is proud to present British Urban Artist ATM in his first Solo exhibition.
Using the street as his canvas ATM paints endangered birds in some of the edgier and more built up inner city areas of London. These beautifully painted oversized images (some up to 9ft in height) carry an important message regarding their very existence, heightening the public awareness of their plight and educating their newly located neighbours wherever they nest.
Accurately painted with confident strokes the birds are often set against a vibrant contrasting background colour that enhances the overall impact of each piece. Scaled down in size for the ‘Love Birds’ exhibition they still retain a strong presence and transfer seamlessly to canvas of which 15 originals, a selection of drawings and lino cuts will be on show for the first time.
