A 'Public Howl' in Wales

About

Simon Whitehead is undertaking a series of fugitive performances and incidents in and around Newtown throughout January and February. The culmination of these is a dramatic public event on Thursday 4 March 2010, at 7pm, incorporating a new musical commission by Barnaby Oliver, long-term collaborator of the artist for Newtown Silver Band and a walk up Bryn Bank for the first ‘Public Howl' in Wales. Wear warm clothes and bring waterproofs and torches. Sturdy walking boots will be required for walking on uneven ground. Refreshments will be available afterwards. A free public event. Meet outside the Gallery, park entrance at 7pm prompt. Further details at www.orieldavies.org nearer the event date.
