Exhibition of Louise Sanders' unique and vibrant gloss paint on aluminium landscape paintings, all inspired by her travels around the world.
About
Fascinated with pattern and colour, Louise's work depicts images taken from her travels around the world. Interested in the relationship between tourism and advertising and the western perception of what is seen to be an exotic destination, Louise explores the contradictions between idealised holiday destinations and distorted illusions of the reality of a place.
Although she has exhibited around the UK and internationally and with her work in collections from New York to China, this is her first solo exhibition. It includes 12 paintings and a limited edition print, all of which are available to purchase throughout the duration of the exhibition.
