We have a thirst for colour at this time of year. We look forward to the chrome yellow of daffodils, the bright pinks and reds of tulips.
It's a perfect time to enjoy the paintings and prints of Louise Davies RE, fellow of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers, who is exhibiting with the ceramicist Emily Stubbs at Twenty Twenty Gallery in Ludlow. The painterly pots of Emily Stubbs are glazed with layers of colour and sgraffito. It's and interesting comparision: the mark making of the printmaker with that of the potter.
