January 5th marks the first installment of the Loren Connors Curatorial Residency at HOLO (1090 Wyckoff Ave., Ridgewood, Queens), focusing on veterans of independent, alternative music. Doors open 7pm. Event is 8pm-11pm, $10 cover.
About
The January 5th event will include a duet performance by guitarist Loren Connors with poet Steve Dalachinsky, followed by an essentially a cappella performance by vocalist Suzanne Langille and poet Yuko Otomo, closing with a guitar duet of David Grubbs and Loren Connors.
Each Saturday in January, HOLO will present performances by artists selected by Loren Connors, who is titling the series “Veterans.”
