About

Some of the most famous illustrations in the world will be on display at artsdepot in Looking in Wonderland, an exhibition opening at the Apthorp Gallery on Friday 27 January. John Tenniel worked as a political cartoonist for Punch magazine until he was approached by Charles Dodgeson to illustrate a small book of fantasy for children…Charles was better known as Lewis Carroll and that book was Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. This exhibition showcases Tenniel's world famous illustrations from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, and the sequel Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There. Looking in Wonderland is a Graphicus Touring Exhibition
