Looking Glass Collective is an art platform that celebrates artists from Africa and the diaspora across European. This group exhibition explores adopted relationships with various objects, commodities and behaviours and the ways in which we use them as a coping mechanism in everyday life.

Looking Glass Collective is a Berlin + London based contemporary art platform that celebrates artists from Africa and the diaspora across Europe.
Looking Glass Collective presents Virtues and Vices, a group exhibition featuring work by Chiizii, Henok Getachew and Ngadi Smart; exploring adopted relationships with various objects, commodities and behaviours and the ways in which we use them as a coping mechanism in everyday life.
Chiizii is a Nigerian London-based visual artist and textile designer. Her art work fuses together colour, pattern, modern and traditional techniques of collage, illustration, painting and textiles, with emphasis on her Igbo heritage.

Henok Getachew is an Ethiopian Berlin-based visual artist. He experiments with found materials and conceptual elements across painting, video, installation, performance and mixed media.

Ngadi Smart is a Sierra Leonean artist based in Côte d’Ivoire. She works predominantly with photography and illustration, exploring identity, feminism and sexuality through an African lens.
