About
Looking from the Inside Out is a collection of artwork created by 19 year old Holly Hamer during her treatment for cancer. Holly was diagnosed with the rare condition rhabdomyosarcoma in December 2013. Alongside her cancer treatment she has continued with her education and subsequently completed her AS level in Art. The work depicts how Holly has dealt with and continues to deal with aspects of her cancer journey. Holly’s art expresses her interpretation of changes to her body, her lack of control and finally, what could be considered her acceptance.
This exhibition is supported by CLIC Sargent, a charity that provides support to young cancer patients and their families.
