About

These three painters use their familiar surroundings as the starting point for their work. The subjects are roads and vehicles: journeys in familiar surroundings, but sometimes further afield; public spaces and the people who inhabit them. Nearer to our own time those who looked no further than their kitchen sink made this humble object the name of an entire genre
