LONDON: YOUR CALL Coming up on Friday 27th July, with a full Opening Ceremony, and running until the Closing Ceremony on August 12th, including August FIRST THURSDAY evening (and all that that involves on one of the busiest art streets in East London), we have a group show called LONDON: YOUR CALL. Expect cultivate to once again be packed with the finest of art.. PLEASE NOTE: There is another event in East London that has an opening ceremony on July 27th, an event that will coincidentally also be running until August 12th. We'll be sharing our opening fireworks and a whole host of other things with the event at the big stadium down the road… We have no idea what is going to happen in East London while the Olympics are on. Will the place be full or will everyone leave? Will people flock to see what's happening? Will it rain? Will the buses run? Will it all collapse? Will in all be glorious? Cultural Olympiad? What about us? Shall we do it ourselves again? Paint an Art Lane to Vyner Street? They tell us the East End will be full of people from all over the world, people here for the Olympics and keen experience what else we have to share with them, we're certainly doing enough interviews with overseas media looking for East London culture This time we're having a group show without a subject or theme, we're letting the artists submit what ever they wish. The artists get to make the call, we just select the pieces of work that excite us enough to want to share them with you via our gallery walls and plinths... A completely open group show with no theme or subject to run here in East London for, what will be, coincidentally, the entire length of the London Olympics... ARTISTS CONFIRMED...
