AboutExpect a day of pop performance, contemporary surrealism and tacky post modernism as we join forces with performance artist Paul Kindersley for an adventure in life drawing. This is a very special edition of The Drawing Theatre as for the first time we go underground in the maze of subterranean spaces at the splendid Shoreditch Town Hall.
Prolific performance artist Paul Kindersley creates rooms, installations, sets, blogs, performances, cultural interactions, drawings, internet personalities, films and constellations of found objects and images. He confuses the roles of voyeur, madman, co-conspirator and obsessive fan, familiar yet uneasy backdrops into which the viewer is implicated. We will see rooms as drawings, human collages and painted characters as caricatures as we step in to the a world of the iconic and ironic.
The Drawing Theatre provides a platform for a new experience of performance art for both performer and audience, encouraging genuine creative exchange between the two. These events involve the audience in an immersive experience, where they are a participant in the creative process rather than passive spectator, which encourages genuine creativity and engagement for everyone.
Exciting, genuinely creative, immersive and unique- join London Drawing for one the most innovative and original drawing workshops in London.
