Reynold's current print work explores the juxtaposition of the city of London and the birdlife that it provides for. With her most recent prints she paints directly onto the screen and uses paper stencils to make each print individual and to lend her prints some of the visual language of paintings.
About
After working for many years as an Art Director of Motion Graphics, Reynold's now works full time as a printmaker. She is a key holder with East London Printmakers, and exhibits frequently around the London area. Her current work explores the juxtaposition of the city of London and the birdlife that it provides for. The optimistic reflection of freedom of movement above an increasingly dense urban environment is of recurring interest alongside the simple enjoyment of studying the birds in their environment. She explores different techniques for screenprinting to further her ability to reflect the Urban landscape. With her most recent prints she paints directly onto the screen and uses paper stencils to make each print individual and to lend her prints some of the visual language of paintings.
