About

Local Interference is an interruption into WORKS|PROJECTS normal programme to present 3 one week projects with some of the most interesting artists emerging from the South West.

Each of the projects forms a discrete solo exhibition of new work by the three artists but also builds to create a dialogue on the limits of sculpture and how sculpture can be suggested through other forms. Using media as diverse as printing, sound, film and ice, the three artists explore sculpture as event as well as object, and the gallery as a testing ground for new ideas.
