A week-long pop-up featuring new work from up and coming NYC local artists.
Featuring painting, photography and printmaking from the artists of Solas Studio.
Solas Studio’s artist program began in March 2020 during the pandemic as a way to
provide artists and photographers with a centralized space to stay social, plan
exhibitions and assist each other with support for individual projects. The program is
headed up by local artist and curator Brandon M. Wisecarver, best known for
managing the Con Artist Collective from 2014-2019 at its original Ludlow Street home.
Solas studio is open to artists from all walks of life working in all mediums, so expect a
wide variety of work from gritty street art to contemporary minimalism and a little of
everything in between. Shop local and support living artists!
Highlights include photography from David Vega of CBGB’s, Trash and Vaudeville,
Gem Spa and Manic Panic taken between 1984-1987, street style from
InnerDemonsNYC (Marc Kelly), Affordable small works from local one-line-legend
0h10m1ke and a fresh screenprint from award winning illustrator Coner Corbet.
