Loaves of Life - An exhibition by Fiona Beveridge.
Exhibition Opening night 13/12/2019 from 7.30pm. BYOB (please note there is a small corkage donation towards community organisation The Forest).
> Exhibition continues for one month.
Loaves of Life is a cafe-takeover showcasing the work made by the artist from the last three years. A collection of her mixed media sculptures, paintings and drawings are integrated into the interiors of The Forest, Tolcross. There will also be faux-edibles with ornamental delights in the display fridges and an All-seeing Potatoe-s large scale mural.
For one night only on Friday the 13th of December; a series of the artists experimental films will be screened in the basement Project Space; accompanied with sounds by TXTERT (Sound art duo Kieron Frickleton + Fiona Beveridge [Tert1 / Tert2].)
About the artist:
Fiona Beveridge is an artist and musician based in Edinburgh. She was born in Lochgelly, Fife 1991. Fiona studied Sculpture at Edinburgh College of Art, graduating in 2014.
Her studio is based at Settlement Projects in Bonnyrigg, Midlothian. She is the curator of public street art space 24 Hour Window in Glasgow, and is the drummer of the minimalist garage-rock trio ComaCat.
