International artists take over St George’s Hall this summer for Liverpool Biennial 2018, the largest festival of contemporary art in the UK. The 10th edition Beautiful world, where are you? invites artists and audiences to reflect on a world in social, political and economic turmoil, with free exhibitions and events taking place in more than 15 locations across the city.

In the former prison cells and courtroom, a selection of video projections and installations will be on display by artists including Turner Prize-nominee Naeem Mohaiemen, as well as Inci Enviner, Aslan Gaisumov, Taus Makhacheva and Lamia Joreige.

Free entry. Enter via the Heritage centre, open from 10 am to 5 pm, Tuesday to Saturday and Sunday, 12 pm to 5 pm. Please note the exhibition is closed on Monday’s.
