Liverpool Art Prize Shortlisted Artists

About

Artinliverpool.com have selected this year's shortlist: paint sculptor Brendan Lyons, painter Bernadette O'Toole, installation specialist Richard Proffitt and new media, film and sound artist Markus Soukup. The shortlist represents the best and most cutting-edge contemporary art being produced in the region. Each artist has exhibited within the last year and is connected to Liverpool's leading studio groups. The artists will be judged solely on works exhibited at METAL. The winner will be announced at an awards ceremony on June 1st and will have the opportunity to display their work at the Walker Art Gallery.
