About
An evening of live music incorporating sequenced and modular gestures, radio frequencies and twisted recordings from artists Maia Urstad + ИЛЬИЧ (Anton Kats).
The concert is part of their collaborative commission at Bergen Kunsthall 20-25 November for the exhibition 'On Circulation', combining their shared interests in forms of communication technology and the way in which histories and narratives are circulated, recorded and archived.
��✨ Maia Urstad (NO) is an artist working at the intersection of audio and visual art. Her works are themed around technological progress and communications technology, using radio as a key audio, visual and conceptual element to comment on the temporary nature of present technology.
��✨ ИЛЬИЧ (Anton Kats) (DE/UA) is an artist, musician and dancer who explores radio through concepts of ‘narrowcast’ and ‘concrete listening’, and engages with structures of self-organisation and self-education.
