Join Jonathan Baldock and Vancouver's Kokoro Dance at CGP London // Dilston Grove for the last in a series of three special performances within Baldock's new installation, There’s No Place Like Home.
Established in Vancouver in 1986, Kokoro Dance are one of the worlds’ leading butoh dance companies, touring their productions internationally, led by its founders Barbara Bourget and Jay Hirabayashi.
Barbara Bourget and Jay Hirabayashi Kokoro will perform amongst Jonathan Baldock’s sculptural installation, activating the works and inhabiting the former church with their strange created characters clothed in Jonathan’s costumes.
The performance is free and wheelchair accessible.

In addition to the performances at CGP London, Kokoro Dance will premier their 2003 work ( ) for the first time in the UK at Bold Tendencies on Tuesday 4 July. This rare chance to witness Kokoro perform from their renowned repertoire live, having danced together for more than 30 years, will be combined with the opportunity to participate in a workshop at Siobhan Davies Studios on Monday 3 July.
