THE VALUE OF THINGS

An Art Exhibition Of Value...
6th March ' 10th March 2011

MAPALIM THE PARLOUR STUDIO & PROJECT SPACE,
181-187 QUEENS CRESCENT LONDON, NW5 4DS

A display of art works relating to what we value as individuals in our western society.
The growth of technology has allowed us to gain extensive access to knowledge, through the availability of anything we desire. From shopping online to internet chat rooms. Has the mass consumption of our society and the collapse of global markets prompted us to rethink our values?

Has this breakdown in monetary wealth and the development of social networking influenced the emphasis we place on family and friends?

Curated by Claire E. Hind, Chris McComish, Mao Wakamatsu, Jo-anna Wolf.
