*** taking place on Friday, 14 November, and on Sunday, 16 November *** As part of The Street - a year-long series of artists' commissions in and around Wentworth Street - the Whitechapel Gallery has commissioned a site-specific live art performance by four emerging artists. Unfolding around Petticoat Lane Market, the work includes a sale of language skills with participants recruited from the local area, installations and performances inspired by the textiles history of the area and a market stall acting as a fairground booth presenting a magic, puppetry and optics show.
