For their 3rd biennial exhibition LPS has teamed up with east London’s premium gallery and concept store The Old Bank Vault to bring you:

LITTLE PAPER SLIPPER: CHAPTER III

About

The ever-growing LPS art installation now features a collection of over 160 unique, suspended papier mâché shoes created by women living in refuges across the UK. Each shoe speaks with its own voice, while together they tell of how it's possible to take a negative aspect of society and, through imagination, turn it into something beautiful — just as the women draw on their experience of domestic abuse to create positive and empowering works of art.

To mark this very special occasion LPS will be giving away free gifts to all guests who attend the opening night – an official LPS designer canvas bag! The event also features an exciting guest performance from writer, poet, performer, producer and playwright Sadie Davidson. Sadie was semi finalist in the 2018 U.K. Slam Championships, is author of "Tales From The Estate", and is supporting internationally renowned poet Holly McNish later this year.

Join us for free drinks and gifts in celebration of the women who created this unique and compelling installation.

OPENING EVENT: Thursday 17 May 6pm – 9pm

Exhibition open Fri 18 to Sun 20 May 11am – 5pm
