Welcome to LiterArties, a group of Oxfordshire writer-artists, all published authors and exhibiting artists. Some are professional artists, others are amateurs with varying degrees of training, and all of us are passionate, inspired and visionary about capturing our creativity.

About

Workshops,Talks, Mentoring

LiterArties' vision of Capturing our Creativity encompasses our aim to encourage others to access their creativity too. Several members  have  a mission to share their enthusiasm and skills through workshops and talks. Both art and writing can be used therapeutically, but more than their potential use as self-help and healing tools, they are also media through which individuals can express themselves, develop inner forms of self-belief and grasp opportunities for self-expansion. How  many people have you heard say, ‘Oh, I can’t draw!’ or, ‘But I could never write a booK!’? LiterArties challenge that through demonstrating how they do both, in both their creative andeveryday lives.

We like to offer a range of topics and include a variety of creative methods, often with hands-on experience, during our exhibitions. To broaden the base of subjects and skills we can offer we work in partnership with authors from Writers in Oxford (WiO).

Here are examples that can be tailored as necessary. These are held on the premises and will vary accordingly to the type of visitor anticipated at the exhibition:
