The sound installation developed for the Donaukanal by Oliver Augst together with Rüdiger Carl und Sven-Åke Johansson is based on texts by and original sound recordings of the German artist Martin Kippenberger (1953–1997).

About

“Iß nicht zu viel vom Topfenstrudel / Er könnt dich verstopfen, Trudel!” [Too much quark strudel / Might constipate you, Trudel!] or “Heute denken / Morgen fertig.” [Think today / Done tomorrow.] are examples of the absurd poems Kippenberger is known for and which were newly set to music. A special play mode allows for ever new language and sound sequences, which alternate with periods of silence of different length.

The project initiated by KÖR is supported by Wiener Linien, Wien Kanal and MA29 - Brückenbau und Grundbau.
