Megan Jayne Ryder’s ‘Listen’ exhibits a multisensory exploration of sound art. Exhibiting four artists’ approaches to the medium of sound, ‘Listen’ presents themes that range from spoken word and ambient sounds, to synaesthesia. Comprised of sound and instruction-based artworks, the audience are invited to physically interact with the pieces displayed in the exhibition, by following the instructions provided by the artists’. The exhibition aims to demonstrate how sound art has developed into an exciting and varied art form, whilst the instructions encourage the audience to consider their multiple senses when experiencing art.
