For 20 years – small and subtle fine and extraordinarily important. Since its inception in 1996, LISTE has developed into one of the most important fairs for mostly new, but also to some extent a middle generation of galleries.
About
LISTE focuses on introducing young galleries with primarily emerging, as yet little known artists. Each year, approximately 80 galleries from over 30 countries are presented – of those, 10 – 15 galleries are introduced for the first time. LISTE’s mission is to promote these new galleries and introduce them to an international expert public.
It would be difficult to find a gallery established after 1996 and numbering among the world’s most important whose path has not included an appearance at LISTE.
A visit to LISTE has become a “must” for the most important private and institutional collectors, curators, museum people and art lovers. Thus, each year LISTE serves as the meeting place for members of the international art world who are interested in this new generation of galleries and artists.
